Spatial planning and design work for a local buy-to-sell property developer and his elderly mother. Re-imagined the kitchen and living area and turned two very separate and modular spaces into an open-plan kitchen, diner, and lounge. Inserted wall to form utility and rear entrance area as well as a more welcoming entrance hall. Moved kitchen windows to allow for new wall and sourced quotes for all products and finishes.

The introduction of a broken peninsular kitchen was a selling point for the client who thought the addition of the island area would add resale value to the house once sold. It was important here to keep colours to a basic pallet that would suit most tastes and sell a lifestyle through staging and accessories to sell the house to a potential buyer as well as be a home the clients would be comfortable living in as well.
